The idea of adaptation and transformation has been the focus in creating this series of work. The pieces were constructed using a delicate balance of choice and chance. As the work going through the multiple adding and subtracting stages, transforming as the firing temperature rises and falls, it gradually arrives at its final composition and becomes a 'living' individual.
Materials used: various clays, glazes, decals, lusters, and gold pen. Firing: electric or gas-fired to1200 - 1300 °C.
